Jimmy Olsen recast for Superman Returns?

Kal Penn of Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle has signed up to play Superman's best friend in the upcoming Superman Returns.

He is an extraordinary actor. He has just signed on as Superman's best friend in the new movie called Superman Returns. As soon as he finishes shooting for Namesake, he will shoot for that.

I have already seen that Sam Huntington was cast as Jimmy Olsen. Maybe this was not confirmed or maybe Jimmy isn't Superman's best friend anymore.
Either way Kal Penn will defiantly add some flavor to this comic flick.

Turns out Kal Penn will not be playing Superman's best friend. Penn's publicist straightened things out by contacting supermanhomepage.com.

UPDATE: We have received official word from Penn's publicist that he will not be playing Superman's best friend as quatoed above, he has actually been cast as a character called "Riley", Lex Luthor's lead henchman.

I guess that just leaves the question as to who the real actor playing Jimmy Olsen really is.
