I am pretty sure most states already have that right. In Florida, you may open carry just about anything except a firearm. I would like to see firearm added to the list of course. But my point is, it is not uncommon in more rural woodsy areas to see people walk around with machetes on their back while shopping.

Hell I carried around a K-Bar on my hip for six months just because I loved it so much. I like how the security at Wal-Mart follows from a distance when I go in with a blade on my hip. It amuses me.

I have had a visit from the cops twice now because I practice in the woods near the canal, they have been cool seen I'm not a nutter and on both occasions they have had a go with my swords and had a laugh.
Scared a few walkers though but most want a go.

Harder to swing a sword then pull a trigger.
It is a martial art have a go it is fun.
Also wand? It is not rubber sword waving dude...14g steel armour and Blunt/sharp swords which would kill anyone with one swing.
Great way to keep fit doing really well for my age.
