A security drill and then an active shooter?

Travis Air Force Base northeast of San Francisco is locked down due to what the base calls a security incident.

Officials later confirmed an active shooter incident, according to ABC7 sister station KGO-TV.

Marie Lowe, a civilian who answered the phone at the base's public affairs office, says details are sketchy and officials are investigating because they don't know exactly what is going on.

It's like The Crazies—political version.

Something went down at Barclays NYC a few hours ago.

As i did my morning business.. i was catching up on overnight events (i'm not in America), at that time there were 3 events

VA - (horrible partisan nut-job)
SF - UPS
NYC - Barclays

and now this one.. that makes 4.. one is too many.. 4 in one day is something else entirely.

Thanks and i agree this looks and feels coordinated. F#ck i wish i had my own satellite to observe Antarctica 24/7. I think something else is going on right now that we are not supposed to see or know about at all.

Looks like this one might have been a false alarm during the confusion of the ongoing exercise. Thank goodness.

First responders did not find anyone wielding a gun upon arrival.

From the official FB page:

UPDATE (5:05 PM) Travis Air Force Base emergency personnel responded to reports of gun shots at the Base Exchange. However, it was determined to be a false alarm. The base is no longer under lockdown.

I just left a message on the local news website telling people to check ATS.com for the most current updates. Lol.

yes we know you like to 'throw that one in there' you do it habitually.. Chicago is a cesspool and should fix it's own crap.. it's been that way for years and NOTHING is done... that's NOT however.. what we are discussing here.

It's not the event itself that alarming, we're all conditioned to these things now (sadly)
It's the frequency of events, the tightening spiral of social decent... big boy stuff..
