Russians might have geniuses in certain fields but not in space travel. Every step of the way theyve been behind the usa. How is it even entertainable as a notion that they sent mammals into space before the usa? Its not. The USA was doing it years before the Russians but it was top secret info.

HOLY FRAK! Where do you get these ideas? What American was the first person in space? When did the USA send this person into space? How many people did the USA send into space before the Russians and all their peasant cosmonauts? Why did the USA have to hide sending someone into space? Wouldn't they have won the space race early if they'd announced and celebrated getting a man into space before the dadgum Russians did?
