Hangar queen was it? Not surprising after being in deep freeze for a long time. They lost another Herc recovering I recall. Kind of made the whole operation airframe neutral, when they were trying to recover a "free" airframe because it was cheaper than buying a new one.

They were fifteen minutes from the point of no return when they lost #3 and came back. It took us a month to get the damn thing gone, and to say the FE was a whiny idiot would be an insult to whiny idiots the world over.
