Really? Well whenever your precision decides to point at the thread topic and instead of ad homineming me or bragging about yourself, let me know. Last I checked the thread is about the OP stressing out over what might be happening in the world. So I'm waiting for you to actually talk about that. Not my intelligence.

I think, in the example of North Korea nuking us, say Hawaii, I think our reaction would be so swift, and brutal, that war would be over within 4-5 days.
If NK nukes us first, I really can't see Russia or China standing by them. Nor do I think they would do more than stand by while we turned their (NK) entire nation into a wasteland.

As far as the aftermath, the clean up would take longer than any of our lifetimes.
