Solar Winds trapped within the planets atmosphere set off a bit of a light show. Much like our own aurora borealis. A bonus of this action was they were also able to find its magnetic poles again. Anyway, loved the title of the article because my inner 12 year old boy has never been kilt yet.

How long have they been waiting to crack that joke again

and it’s caused by powerful bursts of solar wind.

At first I read the title then your name and giggled, thinking it was a joke. But it isn't.

Anyway thanks. This is very fascinating.

phys.org - Hubble spots auroras on Uranus.

Which begs the question, "Why is NASA looking at Uranus?"

- or -

"Your mama's soooo fat... NASA has to use Hubble to look at [h]Uranus!"

But got sidetracked. It was not a slow news day so didn't pull the trigger.

I don't think Uranus gets talked enough on these boards. All the attention goes to Saturn and Jupiter.

Meh.

Go Uranus!

"No giggling at the back, please."

When Uranus was examined in relation to the Voyager Series; it was determined that this was about the most boring planet in our solar system.

Now we see activity.

A lot of people do not look at thus way but consider our Solar System as and Ecosystem.

At least it didn't come into Uranus.
