Did we put an end to it though???

Or did we just kill a whole bunch more people???

Did we even kill those who were responsible for it at all??? Those in charge of doing it???

Does that even matter?? Or is it just about flexing our ability to kill each other that matters now??

Looks like the US just spent 60MILLION to render an airstrip unusable....

MIC is happy, as are McCain, Graham & Rubio.... just sayin....

well...we wont hear about that. no need to say "whooops"!!

Who else could have used it? The number of possible countries that could drop bombs with chemicals is quite slim. I am fairly certain, just like before, it was Assad and Co. that did the deed. And it was abhorrent - but it still doesn't mean Trump's response was the right one. 70 people died in that attack. How many will die over this action tonight? Guess time will tell.

I have to believe this is all some BS.
Neither Trump nor any other political hacks care about children or anyone else.

That's why you see no action in Venezuela, Pick any country in Africa.

This is Rome 2.0

And history remembers how well that turned out.

And I wish Trump and anyone else using the tools of war, death and destruction, would stop invoking god.

God has nothing to do with any of this.

And im an Athiest to boot.

Agreed but there is a military presence in Nigeria Africa to prop up the Chief Bwana despot there--they have oil

So you are in the Russia Did It camp, gotcha.

Truth be told, I don't think we've been given enough information to sit in a camp yet.

There was nothing illegal or improper about what Trump did. Its within his powers to do what he did He did not declare war. He did conduct a military operation. If Syria wants a war over it, they can now choose to. we may not reciprocate unless attacked, however.

All of this said: We have zero reason to interdict ourselves in Syria.

Why would Assad put himself in a bad place with us and Russia?

Exactly... but that doesnt stop folks from making up all sorts of mil and civs that are dead suddenly, either. Some folks sure get off on the thought of ww3, destruction, and death.

We also know this alleged chemical attack happened less than 24 hours that they said removing Al-Assad was no longer a priority and were ending Obama's stupid "TOWS for Terrorists" program.

That's a red flag for me right there. Such convenient timing for interventionists.

The thing that makes absolutely zero sense about attacking this air base, is that if the chemicals were delivered from this airbase and they bombed the base, there is a real potential for the weapons stored there to be hit by explosives and disperse in an uncontrolled fashion into the general environment and kill more innocent bystanders.

Makes zero sense, as in stupid, as in...

...Well...

Looks like lies to me...

So you care for an airbase that stores the components of a banned chemical weapon?
Amazing.

I would be curious what they know of the situation as well. Hell, we are so in the dark here and left to trust the narrative. Not good.

The question is not if it were illegal or "improper".. the question is if it was effing stupid, which may well be the case.
