It's not folks who are worrying, it's the people riding the wave. They're overtop the coral now and about to get pounded into the shore. This is why you see billionaires holding political office and buying land on distant shores. I don't see the wave slowing down and rolling up on the shore this time.

And as for Russian influence over the last election: If the Russians did manage to get Trump over the hurdles of the manipulative Democrats ... what is anybody even capable of doing about that? 0bama's publicly published Birth Certificate was an obvious fake, but it wasn't like anyone was going to strip him of his citizenship and take the presidency and give it to ... who?

The way I see the last election, there were three Liberals running and zero Conservatives: Trump for the Blue Dogs, Hillary for the Alt-Lefts, and Bernie for the Socialists/Commies.

How many people in Trumps administration found to have questionable ties to Russia do you need? Chomsky is indiscriminately outspoken against corruption, corporate media and government in general. Are you familiar with him at all or just automatically dismissive of him because some pundit you like said you should be? Google his criticisms of the Democrat Party to warm you up.

Chomsky is the guy everyone likes to talk down to make themselves seem more informed but nobody wants to debate him. When it comes to dismantling US foreign policy he's the man.

I will say that at least he did call out the DNC, but it was after the fact that Hillary lost. He predicted she would win by a landslide. Not much of an intellectual powerhouse after all. Just hindsight.

I'm quite familiar with Noam Chomsky and I'm not dismissive of him at all. He's a classical liberal and fiercely against corruption, as you say.

I'm not sure you watched the video, but he went into some short detail about the history of the CIA and regime change. He basically says that with all the US is guilty of in terms of 'election interference' it's no surprise to anyone with a brain that half of the world finds this allegation laughable.

In fact, he pointed out that probably the only thing (according to him) that's good about Trump's policy is wanting to ease tension with Russia. He was even shocked to see that this was not unilaterally endorsed, that it was a partisan thing.

Chomsky has in fact been very critical of Obama these past 8 years. Do I need to remind you about the time he went on Julian Assange's TV show?

I'm glad you brought that up.

Both Assange and Chomsky had made similar predictions about a Clinton victory based on how much support she was receiving from the establishment.

Yeah. I could not understand it. I used the internet for my prediction. More of the sites that I looked at were more supportive of Trump. I could not understand how they got the polling wrong.

Actually he's a Libertarian Socialist which I happen to identify as too. I'm a big fan of Chomsky and am well aware of his criticism of Obama, Hillary and Co. I happen to agree with him. I also agree with normalizing relations with Russia... but not Putin. Putin is a sick son of a bitch and dirty... I do not approve of dealing with him at all, let alone the shady manner in which it's been done.

Lastly, watch the new news about the Syrian gas thing--that can be real trouble. The deep state is all over that; trying to get Trump to go after Assad.

On this issue Trump is on the money but did you hear McCain get on him over that, then we had the Syrian gas incident...Coincidence?

Well I hate to tell you but the only way to ease tensions with Russia is to establish a working relationship with Putin.

Or were you referring to when Russia gave millions to the Clinton Foundation after Bill gave a speech in Moscow?
