No Option to Post in Posse forum

I just noticed that I dont have the option to reply to a thread in the Posse forum.

I only have the option to alert mods.
I can quote or reply to posters, just not to the thread in general.

Is this on my end?

Have you made the required amount of posts? Haven't counted but doesn't look like you have 25 yet?

I'm pretty sure.

Its only that forum that is this way for me.
Do I have to have 25 posts per forum?

Sorry I think it's 20 not 25. Just replies not in every forum.

Unfortunately, or fortunately, it requires 500 posts before you can open a thread in that forum...

The reason was some of the threads in that forum were, shall we say, not exactly great reading material. Many were posting a link, or a video, nothing more.

It's hoped, that if you are at 500 posts, or more, you'll realize that opening posts for threads need to be a bit beefier to be more than a twitter-like comment fest.

To be honest, I'd forgotten that is was that many...

I know it sounds like a lot of posts...but when I first joined ATS, I had that many posts within two weeks or so? Not quite as hard as it sounds.

Yep... It's 500 posts I believe you need. We have several like that... Message a mod to explain.... but I see the links been provided you... Good luck!
