I don't know what this means, but UFO sighting "waves" or "spikes" that result in an "event" seem to have some historical precedent. For example, the series of sightings in the American SW during WWII that culminated with the Roswell incident in 1947.

I saw this earlier today on Drudge Report.

I thought the article was poorly written as I didn't quite understand what constitutes a wave?

But interesting!

The data is over 7 years old... Must've been a slow day for Drudge I guess.

Well, I read the article over fairly well, but missed the point Springer made -- the data is not exactly up-to-date.

My problem is, I have a keen interest in unexplained phenomenon like UFO's, but that interest comes and goes. I might go a year before some article reignites my interest. By that time, I've missed a few things, ya know...?

That's why I do a lot more reading here than posting.

I'm sure the widespread and common use of drones has led to more than a few UFO reports. However, drones are small and can't fly very high (500' by regulation). Anyone who can't tell the difference between a drone and a legitimate UFO probably shouldn't be making UFO reports in the first place.
