What happened to the ATS donation button ?

I've noticed that the donation button is no longer at the top of the site anymore and I've looked around through the various forums to see if the admin has made a thread about this (as they usually do whenever there's a site change), but haven't found any mention of it.

No more donation button and no mention about it from the admin (at least not that I can find).

Am I the only one to have noticed this because everyone else is too busy tugging on each others' ponytails in the sandbox to notice ? Or have others actually noticed it too, but just didn't think much of it ?

Has the admin given up on the hopes of donations keeping this place alive ?

Does that mean this is the end of days for ATS ?

Or is my tinfoil hat on too tight again ?

I didn't notice.. must have happened like today.. OR very recently.

who was I talking to.. Zaph said that they were working on the site to make it run better..

there was a temporary change about new members had to use social media log ins not email address..

so yea I don't know, but removing a donation button with no word is not what you do if a site is going under

I haven't been around for a while and just logged in today and noticed it... so I was wondering when it might have disappeared, but couldn't find any info about it.

Which of course alerted my conspiracy theory pea brain to go into overdrive.

Its still there just hiding under all the advertising.

SO said a few months ago that ATS would be no more.

Can't take payments for things about to meet the dodo..

I see a lot of new members here but less of the ones i knew, maybe ATS was offered a deal they couldn't refuse.
And by this still be able to offer a library for new and old truth seekers.

PayPal changed their code/API for handling payments/donations that are integrated into a site, like they way we did it. I need to come to grips with their changes, and redo it. That's all.

I guess they make regular changes to keep up with the neverending technological and internet script/language changes, updates, and reconfigurations.
