A Candle

"Do you believe in dragons?" I haven't had a dinner date for very long time, she seemed curious about what I thought about mythical creatures in mythology. I thought to myself, well, maybe she wants a story to confirm, so i said;" In another world almost like this, I believe they once existed. The last one died almost two and a half centuries ago" She looked at me in a strange way;" What do you mean?"

I paused recollected my thoughts;" A dragon born, will collect all the gold. Kingdoms will fall and from the bones and ashes, a new Kingdom will rise. " She smiled and said;" it's just a fairytale"

" Indeed it is " I said laughing

And lit the candle with my nostril.
