Interesting. I wonder if they will be able to be tracked from their ADS-B transponders at some point (if they move off Groom) like other Red Air planes?

They're Su-27UBs. They announced it in May of 09. They put them back together in Illinois, then took them to Georgia to do the rest of the conversion.

I like that they arrived in an Antonov. I think they have a hanger at Reno. Next time we fly into there, and we are close Ill check it out

Allegedly along with some AA-10's, of which that particular Flanker appears to be carrying two on the outboard wing stations..Hard to tell if they are captive carry or not, due to the pic quality..
