I mean the frock I wore to the New Year's Eve dance in 2000.

So many people asking me, have you got any memorabilia, tickets or anything from the Millennium?

Scratched in the closet, and I found the dress!

(A bit of history, that was my granny's German carnival dress. She's passed away now, but back in 2000 she could still sew, and she fixed it up for me perfectly. But it goes back several decades before my time. Nevertheless this Saturday in 2018, it still fitted me perfectly!)

What, male garments and uniforms from those times?
Good luck finding them.
Maybe collectors still could, but for the general population they were all destroyed.

Haven't put anything up on these boards in a while - been lurking more than anything.

Recently went to an interesting event though- a costumed ball at the Chateau de Versailles.
I made my wig myself, and it made such a hit, I have orders for more from people who are into this kind of thing.
I loved looking at the costumed people had, some people really invest a lot into it. The months of preparation are really the funnest part, if you create them yourself.
Had these tickets for a long time, had to go with the ex, which was kind of weird. We are still friends, but the six hour drive to Paris was a box of tension and effort not to be snarky.
