Well so much for the demise of the left in America. It looks like a lot of people are worried, justifiably, about the Trump administration. It's good to see but it may be too late if my predictions are correct the GOP congress is going to pass so much draconian legislation, from voter suppression to gerrymandering to prosecuting dissenting media, that it may be almost impossible to stop them from here on out. Hopefully I'm wrong, time will tell.

So we have "Progressives" that hate big money influence giving money away so somebody can influence something.

"gerrymandering" is a state issue.

The States draw the U.S. Congressional Districts.

All sides should be worried, and not about some president. As a species we're driving ourselves to extinction, and meanwhile your average schmuck is mad that we didn't elect the person who wanted to start a nuke fight

Getting tired of the off death, here.

Money only increases the progressive left's ability to "get the message out". It won't help them because "their message" is the problem. Something they still haven't grasped.

We saw how they treated Bernie Sanders.

Honesty would do them more good than Money.

Progressives gave Jill Stein Millions$$$ for her cockamamie recount. That was money well spent.
BTW...did she ever give it back?...or does she get to keep it?

If they want to win elections, they need to alter their platform to one that is more broadly appealing and one that doesnt make white men the scapegoat of their ideology. That is probably the difference in the last election. They alienated a lot of center, non-partisan voters.

And on the presidential election, they should try running someone that isnt a brazen criminal.

They wasted $1.5 Billion to get Hillary elected and lost, compared to Trump spending half that much. I'm quite happy with them wasting more of their money. Seems like a win-win.

The Democrat™ Party of old would've lodged complaints about this but now that they too play the $$$ game they too can piss up a rope..

Start spending "Our $$" like it is Your $$$ and 'maybe' somebody, somewhere will elect You, until that time are You going to try and improve things OR piss and moan?

Signed,

Tired of paying for other folks' mis-fortunes..

Didn't Obama just establish a Ministry of Truth? the GOP did not do that. And "voter suppression" to Progressives means you have to show ID to vote, unlike Obama, who encouraged illegal aliens who weren't even citizens to vote.

What is voter suppression? You mean like asking for a valid ID, or the whole having to be a citizen to vote?

If the DNC wants to be relevant, its all about labor. Liberalism is a niche market when your constituents are begging for employment.

Whoever taps into labor (not unions, but people) will be riding the wave for the next 10 years.

That sums up the whole problem with the liberals "message" in under 500 words.

I'll drink a shot for you now and thank you for your post. Star and perfect!

SURPRISE DONATIONS to Progressives after the miserable voter support... and voter dissatisfaction with the Progressive agendas ???

my nose tells me something stinks...

this has gotta be the missing Trillion or more USD$ reported by the Pentagon as unaccounted....

the 'donations' could not get funneled through the 'Clinton Foundation' because that scam has been outed already... so, the next way to Launder-the-money is to accept Donations to Progressives & other crappy things like Common-Core & the 12 days of Kawanza

Trump has two years to get something done. He'd better use it. Because the left is going to show up in record numbers at mid-terms, which is something they very seldom do.

Unless of course Trump can win everybody over before then.

Most of the money being donated will fund everything except what donators want... Vacations, mysterious "overhead", friends who own lobbying companies, etc..

The end result will be President Trump cruising to a second term victory in 2020, followed by another Republican President in 2024, who will cruise to a second term victory in 2028.
