I did a test in the military, i scored average like most, nothing special.. One part of the test i scored extremely high, i did some sort of the same test in High School and was over a hundred points over the second one..
In the military i had to do another test called signal intelligence test, i failed, hard..

Instead i grew up competing in video games, and martial arts.. And learned pretty fast everyone has a pattern they follow, in martial arts i read my opponents like an open book with simple means, just like in the video games.. A favorite move could be used against anyone, their strength became their weakness..

The curse i call it, is a cognitive skill called pattern recognition..

If i had grown up in the right environment i would most likely turn out very different, in what way i really dont know.. Instead i had a free fall in society where people were taught, to act as animals but behave as humans.. I never really learned any of it..

My social skills arent that good, i had to learn them, or rather mimic the persona im speaking to, cause in the end, most people love talking to themselves..

As it is now, To much information about things that i could say it simple;" Who gives a f# "
So if im grumpy i just want to say;" im sorry "

I tend to relate in many aspects to those who "Lack social skills" to the point of "not giving a f#."
I've found that high self awareness, or a higher understanding of the systematic cycle which we live in, tend to yield high degrees of apathy for the experience.

There isnt an On or Off switch, it becomes instead apathy and then guilt..
So you sound like a total d*** ,cause the nature of who we are is just to sick to handle normally

"Too realistic"

You're a dick because you tell things like they are, and no one likes to be told "You're doing this or that only because of this."

They hate psychology and they hate people who are right about the underlined themes that aren't spoken verbally.

This is one of the most important test that a child can take. It may also explain why a person is the way they are.

I'm curious how you would score on this test here: www.alexithymia.us...

Alexithymia, just look it up if you haven't heard of it, but take the test first!

I scored 132.. which apparently I'm growing more and more impersonal, my last score about a year or so ago was 124.

The questions are pretty straight forward imo. You don't lack empathy, and probably don't have much trouble identifying with your feelings. If you did, your answers would reflect that in your score.

I scored very low (which is good in the eyes of society) in the sex category. Which means although I am distant, I do attempt to provide emotional needs to the best of my abilities. As little capacity as that may entail. I'm not completely heartless!

Heh I'm no good in social situations, but am trying to improve by taking tiny steps. The first now being to connect with random people online that share similar interests(heavy metal and the like), are a similar age and are the opposite sex. Sure, most conversations might be the only one with the other person, but I like to think it will help me realize I can communicate! Ok, that wasn't the point of your thread, but I got stuck on that bit. I'm sorry. Take care.

I scored 94, but it's after 3 AM so I'm not sure of the accuracy.

I used to be the same, in a way. I used to refer to myself as a chameleon because I would blend in with whomever I was around, acting and speaking like them because with the way I was raised I didn't quite obtain any social skills and I didn't know how to act otherwise. (Mentally ill father, alcoholic mother, rarely socialised with others my own age) I was entirely awkward, my emotional age younger than my physical age, I was thought of as that weird kid.

It wasn't until I was in my late teens/early 20s when I actually started to develop my own sense of self and I went through a few issues during that time, working out what was acceptable and what was not, how saying certain things was inappropriate but that was news to me.

But in its own way being a chameleon was helpful, because now I can fit in well with most people. It's entirely false, because now I'm my own person and I know the characteristics of others that I like and don't like, but if necessary I can blend in.

So if im grumpy i just want to say;" im sorry "

"No worries."

I scored a 56. But these kinds of tests kind of annoy me, even though they are fun to do for a minute just to see the results. They do not define a person or you. It's just another stupid label. No one really can define you, they will certainly try to though.

Non-alexithymia: You show few to no alexithymic traits. If you are interested in Alexithymia we would be happy to have you as a regular visitor on our pages.

I found the questions interesting. I was not surprised at the results.
