The weather in my location has been so nice, and warmer than usual, that it seems as if they are hanging around a little longer than usual before
migrating on.
There is a tree in the middle of my front lawn. On weekends, when I water the lawn, I always finish by spraying the water from the hose into the upper
branches of the tree, creating a cascading fall of water drops. It lasts for maybe ten minutes.
As soon as the water starts splattering, the humming birds appear.
They hover, then dart through the falling water. Sometimes they just hover, like they're taking a shower.
