There is no doubt in my mind Assange is owned by Putin. It's all about economics.

Whoever is responsible for the leaks understands one very simple thing... that if Hillary becomes elected, she will be the one to start WW3.

That's already going on in the Middle East. Here is why...

Now if we map the resources of known natural gas reserves in the entire Persian Gulf region, the motives of the Saudi-led Qatar and UAE in financing with billions of dollars the opposition to Assad, including the Sunni ISIS, becomes clearer. Natural gas has become the favored “clean energy” source for the 21st Century and the EU is the world’s largest growth market for gas, a major reason Washington wants to break the Gazprom-EU supply dependency to weaken Russia and keep control over the EU via loyal proxies like Qatar. The world’s largest known natural gas reservoir sits in the middle of the Persian Gulf straddling part in the territorial waters of Qatar and part in Iran. The Iranian part is called North Pars. In 2006 China’s state-owned CNOOC signed an agreement with Iran to develop North Pars and build LNG infrastructure to bring the gas to China.[4] The Qatar side of the Persian Gulf, called North Field, contains the world’s third largest known natural gas reserves behind Russia and Iran.

Hey, give Wikileaks the credit they deserve, if it was their hard work then why credit someone else? Either way, it looks like this leak can end up really causing some serious issues.

I find it really odd that the Clinton folks are keeping up the ridiculous mantra "Blame Russia". I know that "Blame Bush" worked for Obama in his first term, but come on. Everything about the response to the leaks is so processed and schooled. Who would believe any of the Clinton people if they denied the authenticity of the emails? No one. So the best they can come up with is to appear to throw a snit and state 'we refuse to verify stolen email'. Huh? That is a very bizarre statement that should cause everyone's eyebrows to raise up right up off the forehead.

It strikes me there must be something in these emails that is really, really damning otherwise they would not have released the Trump recording from 2005. The Clinton campaign is probably right in seeking to distract from Wikileaks with a sleaze dump of their own. Of course, to anyone with partial awareness Trump's sex-trash talk is nothing compared to the sexual misconduct of Bill Clinton... though one knows the DNC and their shills in the press will make as much hay of the Trump tape as they can whilst assiduously avoiding the Wikileaks story.

I wonder if Wikileaks using the #owngoal hints that the leak is from within the Dem party or someone within the US govt?

I'm beginning to think that the Guccifer and Bear hacks are misdirection. Serves the purpose of being able to put more heat on Russia and discredit Wikileaks.

Guccifer2 and DCLeaks compromised?

DNC hinted at and started the "rumors" that fakes would surface.. remember Donna Brazille?

Now, the "alleged" G2 release on DCLeaks turns out to be mostly the same stuff released by the real G2 from the DCCC...

Some of them doctored... and G2 tweeting some crap that isn't it funny how DNC, DCCC & Clinton FOundation fiels were found on the HRC Private Server?

Sure smells of intentional propaganda to give them ammo to use to discredit ANY forthcoming leaks ..

YMMV

edit to add:

G2 was banished on twitter... DCLeaks was seized after the release of G2's DCCC Doc dump... coincidence that both surface around this hoax doc dump?

There is ample evidence to prove how insane this woman is and that she would do so.

We can only pray that some of the coming leaks will be so shocking that even the most docile American will wake up to the game that is being played.

I think you are absolutely right. Your last sentence is right on the money. Suddenly, at the age of 64, I'm right back in the nightmare my twin brother and I lived out in the early '50s. The "Duck and Cover" drills always terrified me. When tensions lessened after the Cuban missile crisis it felt like a smothering presence had suddenly departed. The air was easier to breath and the future seemed to actually be possible.

Now I'm back to living with the knowledge that it could all end at any moment. Occasionally I've been scolded for having a doom porn outlook, but nobody should kid themselves about present reality. Russia knows full well that JFK fought a military wanting to launch a devastating first strike during the CMC. It is now documented fact but Khrushchev knew at the time because of the warning RFK got to him by back channels. Every major target had been overflown at least once and many three times. We'd violated Russian air space with impunity during Eisenhower's administration and carefully mapped a first strike meant to end any threat from Russia, EVER!

How could anyone fault them for believing it is about to happen now? We have War Hawks doing test runs out west with B-2 bombers dropping dummy B61 nuclear bombs!!! Heaven help us all if they become convinced it is about to start. Those of us that take a direct hit will be the lucky ones. I don't want to be among those that are left. Being alive isn't necessarily living.

I wish this guy didn't lay out such a rational, linear explanation of how close we are. This isn't doom porn, it's Reality. You don't have to be a Christian to watch this video. Ignore that part if you like. What he says should be of concern to all of us.

Someone needs to snap out of it before it's too late. Another of my "CornShuckerisms" is, "When you try to see how far you can push someone, you run the risk of finding out!"

What I find odd is how Putin has made many statements about the media lying to the US citizens and how he is smart enough to use the media himself for his own personal financial gain and no one "gets it".

There is no one innocent entity in all of this. It's an economic war being played out by the media and Assange that has everyone confused as to who is doing what to whom and how.

When you analyze all the information ( past and present) it seems to paint a picture no one is looking at.

Look into how much money is being invested in pipelines and you will see the picture in it's full context/content.

www.thecommentator.com...

Something that has had me puzzled was Putin called Trump, "Smart". Do what? Smart?

Looking into the comment I couldn't help but think smart as in a business deal? Maybe he had in mind... Gazprom? If you don't know what Gazprom is.. www.washingtonpost.com... 6-9aee-8075993d73a2_story.html

Oh come on. It seems to me that Putin would fair better with another treasonous administration.

"As the Russians gradually assumed control of Uranium One in three separate transactions from 2009 to 2013, Canadian records show, a flow of cash made its way to the Clinton Foundation," The Times reports.

www.businessinsider.com...

Why shouldn't Russia have interest in energy, the west certainly does. Geeeeeez....The U.S was manipulated into handing 600,000 acres of America to Russian Uranium interests, so why should we be so perturbed at Russian and Syrian business deals? Rather than taking sides in a rigged game why don't we all work on changing the rules of the game.

I find it really naive to point fingers at anyone else other than the U.S and her little minions. As far as dirty dealing, Russia pales in comparison to the the U.S. Perhaps we should clean our own house before demanding someone else clean theirs.

I have not seen one thing that leads me to think that Russia is behind any leaks, much less any proof.

Look... get off your Putin high horse. If you read my post you would have noticed I said, "There is no one innocent entity in all of this".

Understanding what was said in my post is understanding I wasn't pointing fingers... like you are.

Pot calling the kettle black?

I find it really naive to point fingers at anyone else other than the U.S and her little minions.

Like Putin?

They are all in this together and when they have an opposing view... wars happen. I mean.. doesn't take a rocket scientist to look at history and learn what wars were really fought over.

No End To Fighting

As these conflicts and others like them suggest, fighting for control over key energy assets or the distribution of oil revenues is a critical factor in most contemporary warfare. While ethnic and religious divisions may provide the political and ideological fuel for these battles, it is the potential for mammoth oil profits that keeps the struggles alive. Without the promise of such resources, many of these conflicts would eventually die out for lack of funds to buy arms and pay troops. So long as the oil keeps flowing, however, the belligerents have both the means and incentive to keep fighting. In a fossil-fuel world, control over oil and gas reserves is an essential component of national power. “Oil fuels more than automobiles and airplanes,” Robert Ebel of the Center for Strategic and International Studies told a State Department audience in 2002. “Oil fuels military power, national treasuries, and international politics.” Far more than an ordinary trade commodity, “it is a determinant of well being, of national security, and international power for those who possess this vital resource, and the converse for those who do not.” If anything, that’s even truer today, and as energy wars expand, the truth of this will only become more evident. Someday, perhaps, the development of renewable sources of energy may invalidate this dictum. But in our present world, if you see a conflict developing, look for the energy. It’ll be there somewhere on this fossil-fueled planet of ours.

He is not there to lead you, he is there to own you. To him you are but a property and he does with his property whatever he wishes. Resist and he will restrain you against your will. He doesn`t care about your human aspect and could make FEMA camps a reality.

The recent 2005 domination demonstration recording is just a glimpse of what I`m talking about, but know that it won`t apply only to women. Say goodbye to liberties and peace. The guy thinks he is next best thing to God and that he can do whatever he wants. In other words, he is nuts but also smart enough to get things done which makes him dangerous and unpredictable.

I'm hardly on a Putin high Horse. I understood your points, though I did not agree with the linked commentary. I think you totally missed my point. And why in the post are you trying to get into Putins head? Putin should not enter the conversation on energy between any of us until WE the people here on ATS and other places kick the energy foreign interests out of our own back yards, we certainly like kicking them out of Europe and the ME, in our case though we chose to destroy the back yards of others. At least Putin is securing Russian energy interest through business dealings, questionable or not. The west however likes to stir up murder and mayhem to get what they want.

The difference between you and me is you are giving Putin an excuse and pointing fingers to the US ONLY.

I am however saying they are all a bad seed and are going to harvest the oil to our demise. Humanities demise. This is major and our leaders across the world know exactly what they are doing and could care less about you or me. We aint in the oil club so don't defend the obvious.

If you think Putin didn't sit back and let the US do what it does for his own interests you are mistaken. It's a monopoly!!

A circle jerk that goes round and round...

I'm not making excuses for Putin. I'm calling out the U.S capitalist government for their corrupt practices around the world, not to mention what they do to their own citizens. I can only take care of what I actually know. Trying to get in the head of Putin is pointless. Let Russia and the sovereign nations they do business with sort out their own problems.

Right here in my own country there is so much corruption to sort out I don't think anyone knows where to begin with a remedy. But I will start here on ATS. Bringing Putin into a discussion where he does not belong is just a small sample of miss-direction. People use it all of the time and I'm going to call it out when I see it.

The topic is Wikileaks claim on the Podesta mails, not the hidden agenda of a world leader.

I pay attention to wikileaks so I can get a grasp of the corruption of my own government.

Better yet, let's pay attention to the corrupt politicians that make war on the behest of oil money. Let Russians deal with their corruption and we deal with ours.

Hillary Clinton's campaign and the Super PAC supporting her have received more than $6.9 million from the fossil fuel industry.

We already know that Assange is given refuge at the Ecuadorian embassy in London thanks to the good will and support from Russia. That is not free. Assange is working for Russia. Assange can not hack anything from the embassy. But why is Russia hacking the DNC? Supposedly, Republicans and Trump are stronger and more effective leaders than Democrat Hillary Clinton. It does not make sense that Russia or Assange would support the authoratative Trump. But, Trump won't release his tax returns because he does not want anyone to see that he owes China tons of money and that Russia is the guarantor.
We already know Trump is a big fan of back room deals allowing him to avoid paying his debts. He had the bright idea to sell his Top Secret Presidential briefings in exchange for a release from his debt to China. Sounds ridiculous, but is it really? I'm sure Putin has known Trump would be a candidate at some point, and that Putin has had this in the works for a very long time. Trump would be an easy man to blackmail. Trump does not mind bending the rules, but he hates being exposed.
Why else would only the DNC be hacked? Why else would Russia choose the stronger candidate? We know Putin has no fear of Clinton! The brilliance of this arrangement is that it is so obvious that it seems absurd. That is exactly how it is succeeding.
