I noticed a silver border around my stats

Yes, I know what it is.

Does anybody remember what it takes to get this? I seem to remember it was like, the top 50 members were gold, the next 50 were silver? But that was before the star explosion happened bumping up random members to the millionaire club.

How are these "ranks" determined now?

I've heard rumours that the silver border was cookie related. I believe it was 100 cookies per mod and you get the silver one.

Now the gold one, I can't go into what I've heard needs done to get that. T&Cs prohibit me from saying.

Gold might look better!

It's like being back in primary school, where you hand your work in for assessment and it comes back with a silver star attached, probably 8 or 9/10.

Hmm, I disagree.
I think the silver works well, linking the industrial/steel infrastructure of the image with the functional presentation of member stats...and separating the two visually.
