ometime in‭ ‬2011,‭ ‬I had something I needed to write down late one night.‭ ‬I hopped out
of bed,‭ ‬meaning to only be a few minutes.

It had been stormy that day and it was very wet outside.

Legend of La Llorona is said to come into play‭ ‬during stormy nights.

As I was working,‭ ‬the air turned thick,‭ ‬heavy and oppressive.

I heard a noise near the back door.

I thought nothing of it,‭ ‬assuming it was the Wind against the back door.

Suddenly,‭ ‬I heard a Blood Curdling Woman‭’‬s Scream.

I finished up my work,‭ ‬turned out the lights and ran for the Bedroom.

buried myself in the Covers,‭ ‬got right up next to my Husband shaking.
I didn‭’‬t come out again until morning.

Next evening,‭ ‬I ran an Investigation without results.

Nothing could debunk what I had heard.

I have been working on a Bigfoot connection with the Llorona phenomenon. They are known for screaming in the night. Sometimes they are in places you wouldn't expect. They are famous for looking in windows at night. Was your windows or door open? What's the surrounding area like? All urban or next to wild areas?

La llorona is folklore that I am familiar with because of my heritage. However, I do believe that the story goes that she drowned her children in a fit of rage against her husband, almost instantly regretted it and killed herself. She now walks along the river bank, or the canal bank, crying for her children, thus her name. We were taught not to go near the water after dark because she would take us. I don't remember mention of blood curdling screams from her or her coming just because it had rained.
