smokestack on the moon?

A quick search on Lunar Structures produced interesting results. I saw a lot of these for the first time tonight.

By the way, anyone know the coordinates for the "Smokestack" or other anomalies?

Thats cool now we have twin smokestacks......one on the moon and one on mars.

Yes it is a hoax.
The "video" is not a video at all. It was taken from a NOVA episode in which a movie was simulated by zooming in on this photograph (AS08-14-2393).

The "smoke" was created by NOVA.

The question that I would have to ask is Why do you need a mile high smokestack?

Is the underground base on the moon burning coal for power?

Are they using it to burn their rubbish?

What purpose does it serve?

I'm not being facetious. I'd really like to have some idea why anyone would build a mile high structure. That's a lot of effort.

Just because it looks like a smokestack doesn't mean it has to be a smokestack. I think that is our logical mind interpreting data to forms that we recognize.
