My KJV Bible from the 70s has the Lord's prayer "In Earth as it is in Heaven", where I recall it being "On Earth as it is in Heaven".

Something strange is happening.

Wine skins changed in the Bible I studied for discipleship - to bottles.. (wineskins was one of the discipleship lessons).

Same with Lion / Lamb and the Lord's Prayer.. Lion replaced with wolf is creepy and telling.

as far as it being on earth or in earth...
looks like it depends on what version of the bible you are using.

although I have to admit, I have always used the king james version and on earth sounds more right than in earth when I run the lord's prayer through my head. maybe my sunday school teacher of long ago was using a different version or something, don't know really.
