Take Me Home

It keeps dripping...every few minutes,
Mind numbing, takes me to the outer limits.
I see clearly, though it blinds my sight,
But it keeps me breathing throughout the night..

I saw them there and wondered how come,
Why they were waiting to take me home.
What more was there left for me to do,
And that was when you came into view.

Finally, something worth fighting for!
And even if I lived, only one day more,
Your beauty inspires me, it sets me free!
A reason to live, finally...finally!

I slowly stood up from my hospital bed,
Pulled the tubes, from my heart and my head.
Slowly walked to you and then suddenly,
I remembered who it was you used to be.

You were my life, my love, my happiness,
You've no idea how much you were missed.
And They were there so I wouldn't be alone,
Waiting with me, for you to come take me home.
