Then just to show its not all darker songs the band Dead Can Dance (Brendan Perry-Lisa Gerrard) have been with me musically in my life for so long and across multiple decades so any of their songs contribute to telling my story. In this case I picked Brendan Perry covering the classic Tim Buckley song of longing , risk and the lure of love called Song to the Siren..This Mortal Coil also does a well known cover of this, in certain music scenes, but for me Brendan Perry's voice has always been healing and calming.
