Problems with my Xbox's

Hi there
just wondering if any Xbox owners out there are having problems with your Xbox..... I'm on my third one. I've had one overheat constantly, and one that would not read half of my games(mostly EA sports games)
Is this common or what?
A responce would be greatly appreciated....thanks
