Guild Wars Beta Weekend

I decided to give Guild Wars a shot on Simulacra's recommendation. I participated in the Guild Wars Beta weekend in early January. It was very cool, but it was my first mmorpg, so I'm bound to be easily impressed.

Did anybody else here participate, or in one of the earlier ones?

I'm also looking for a decent guild to join, since the one I joined is full of childish w@nkers. Anybody know of a good guild?
