This website has dealt with many topics all dealing with one key direction, seeking the truth or rather the final closure that our minds require. Seeking the truth however, is it really possible?

How transparent can the government be?

Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) was created; it's a federal freedom of information law that allows for the full or partial disclosure of previously unreleased information and documents controlled by the United States government.

A partial disclosure is an edited source, therefore a full disclosure with a partial counterpart can never be full.

National security' is used to keep information classified and hidden from public viewing.

So the partial information, is taken from a ‘only fit for public viewing’ pot of data. So therefore, there is no such thing as FOIA. We are all duped into believing we can acquire secret data but this is not true. With those two statements above regarding those ‘rights’ of ours, shows that there are no rights to sensitive data.

We all know NASA and such organisations seem to never want to be fully cooperative and it seems they are hiding a history and a world we are not allowed to be privy to as of now and maybe ever.

Neil Armstrong - There are great ideas undiscovered, breakthroughs available to those who can remove one of the truth's protective layers. There are many places to go beyond belief. Those challenges are yours--in many fields, not the least of which is space, because there lies human destiny.

Why would this site be any different than the other 100's of conspiracy sites? Look into that for a while.

Not wishing it to be different, just an opening line.

Okay. Just saying the truth does not make revenue. Follow the money...

Those seeking truth need to search within the realm of philosophy and religion. Outside of that, there is no truth, only a spectrum of lies written by the victors.

A better question - Would "we" even know the truth when we see it?

Religious truth?

The important truth to me is the truth of our condition

What good is to know about aliens or any of this stuff when your f____d up

what good will that do you?

Develop yourself where you'll have the capacity to get what you have to get

to know what you have to know

and do what you have to do

and be what you have to be

Better yet, is there a truth, we can all agree upon?

No. Never. Ever. No one person, group or leader speaks for the whole world at once. Will never happen. There will never be any disclosure.

Of what? By whom accepted by all? When? The evidence has always been there...and we choose to ignore it. What much evidence does one want?

That's kinda what I was getting at. "We" is a pretty meaningless term. I'm very much opposed to collectivist thinking when it comes to stuff like this so to me, there is no "we" unless there are thousands of people who think exactly like me. Which isn't possible (and probably not even desirable).

"Truth" is (generally) subjective. There aren't that many things that are not open to interpretation.

"In reply to your main question, "will we ever get it?" the truth that is. I would look at it this way, the truth can be discovered if ones wishes to apply oneself to that. There is no we about it, its simply applying oneself. If one doesnt apply one self, it is easy to remain in a world bubble of fantasy and lies. The truth dwarfs all the rest. Everything is belittled in at the feet of truth. Of course the truth worries not about how its taken. a reply to: BlackProject

The truth that you search for is a truth that doesn't exist.

That is why it cannot be found.

The "truth" depends on the perspective of the seeker.

A circle can describe a square, as a circle can surmount a square. The converse is also true.

Which is the truth?

The revelation of complete truth would involve the absolute comprehension of all those seeking it in order to be...complete.

There is a question which must be answered before one can understand what they are seeking when they say "the truth".

One must first define the word "they". 'They' in the context of the truth are the ones who have the answer, and 'they' have a reason for their motivations of not revealing the truth. Fail to answer the 'they' question completely, or correctly, and one only gets a fragment of the truth.

I've actually been thinking of making a thread about "they" recently for exactly this reason...the truth.

just my opinion - but most people who are demanding " teh turth " and " disclosure " are not actually interested in either - what thiey really want is " confirmation " of thier a-priori beliefs

It seems rather uncertain as of yet, as the deceit or subversion is mostly due to CYA policy than anything overwhelmingly ground-breaking. A lot of truths being hidden has to do with those hiding them not wanting to be held accountable. (Or at least there has to be some perception of trust.) However things have been pushed too far lately (to the point of being blatant), so the public trust needed for rule by law is likely to go to the wayside anyays. (More and more incidents as the standards that should be the foundation of gov't has worn thin with neglect.) Don't be too surprised if there has to be a revolution or some form of anarchy before some of the bigger truths may finally be exposed.

If you're into the esoteric stuff, then some of the more metaphysical or philosophical ones are something you can find for yourself. Probably more a subject of meditation and psychonaut type stuff. (Some would also say religion, but to me that involves a middleman and their interpretation.) Other aspects like ethics should be known and obvious, but seems modern society still prefers to look the other way and ignore it.
