Well in truth, there is every bit a possibility that a contagion with god knows what symptoms could be unearthed there, 15 million years isolated means we likely have no immune response to speak of. Zombies, yeah... not likely, but dealy... very maybe.

If they did dig up something sinister I'm not sure why they jump to zombies. I think the "The Thing" would be a better fit.

its fun to hypothesize apocrypha people.
especially when the media gives you conveniently linked mysterious stories....
AND ALL ON THE SAME DAY!

yea I doubt some dude dying of cancer or suffering from ANY impairing disease... is hanging out doing strenuous work in sub zero temps at the south pole.
I'm sure the hiring/health checkup medical history paperwork is STRINGENT there....otherwise you're putting not only yourself at risk, but others safety and lives...not to mention liability to the employers....

nah ....see what I did there....used reason instead of impulsive backlash based on subconscious media fiction programming

he JUST caught something. he just RECENTLY CAME DOWN WITH A DANGEROUS ILLNESS and they're not giving details for a reason.

"Many of the species we sequenced are what we would expect to find in a lake. Most of the organisms appear to be aquatic (freshwater), and many are species that usually live in ocean or lake sediments."

At most it would lead to random zombie fish attacks. I am not afraid.

oh the fourth estate media loves you.
and private research interests are transparent in their findings and would have no reason for serving you disinformation.

this is a mathematical modeling of a zombie epidemic.
it shows that the only way to make any way past even a dent in the monstrous human population, is to have the infected actively and violently peruse and infect the uninfected.

Georgis Guidestones lay out the goal #

these stories seem to align in this storyline whether vostok would be a front for a Previously developed and tested biowarfare virus.

if you don't think that one of the most advanced countries or private corporations out there has NOT investigated the use and response to something that turns neighbor against neighbor then I pity your naivety.
the only thing that causes eyerolling is the perception of the concept the media has Plato-Caved you into consuming.

Did you just accuse me of not taking the threat of zombie fish attacks seriously enough?

Yes, but that's more of a Last Ship kind of scenario than it is a zombie apocalypse.

And to add some butter to this doom porn there was this story: Washington Post, June 22, 2016 - Plane takes off from the South Pole in rare, risky effort to rescue sick workers

The article is a total review of just how risky it is perform such a mission. This will be the third attempt to air lift somebody out in an Antarctic winter--ever. The article states that they cannot provide information about the two sick individuals due to HIPAA (the policy that states without a patient's approval details of their condition can not be given). So who knows? Maybe this is where it starts...

Bwaaahaaa...
