Oh no honey you've got it twisted, I go to the bathroom I present as so no need to go building special accommodations for little old me. I live in a more enlightened region of the country where my fundamental right to dignity is recognized and respected but nice try.

I doubt an ignore fuction would work. Why? Because it would be used furiously for about a day and a half. Then reality would sink in. what am I missing? what are 'they' saying?.

I tend to doubt that anyone who espouses an ignore function could stand to use it for long. I would not ever choose it myself. I want to know. I want the choice of knowing or not knowing. If my interest isn't piqued enough to know, I do what I do every. single. day. I simply choose not to click on a thread.

We used to have an ignore function...I never used it, but it seemed to cause more problems if I recall correctly?

Can you really not practice self-control and move on? Didn't you just post an OP about how everybody is so offended easily and yet here you are telling us that you are apparently so incapable of ignoring threads that we need to make a special forum for you to be able to ignore

I hate to say it, but the problem is on your shoulders, not anyone else's. If you make a thread (I mean 'you' as in a general 'you' and not specifically you) bashing people and they fight back, you don't get the luxury of crying "oppression." On the other hand, you (as in specifically you) have every power and right to scroll right past them and walk away.

I do it every time I come onto this site. I know this to be true because back when I was far more active I would allow myself to get riled up all the time. The key word is ALLOW. You have allowed yourself to get so upset that you are crying victim only days after a thread claiming that everyone is basically a victim

And yes before you or anyone else states this...I am aware that this is a rant. And I am pointing out inconsistencies in said rant
