Yes I can do this just not very well. Can someone give me advice on how to control my dreams. Without very odd events like a dream I had about Vampire tomatos.

sure: keep away from horror movies, watch lovely emotional movies, and gather flowers in your spare time. Guaranteed, that you won't dream of vampires!

A simple trick is to look at your watch and ask urself.. "is this real????" then it will go into your sub counsious and then heopefully it will go into your dreams.... some people use this to astral project from a dream state.

Carlos Castaneda had a great book about lucid dreaming...THE ART OF DREAMING........lots of good info about the nature of doing this can be found...
..yes GOOGLE up LUCID DREAMING ..
.. seek and ye shall find.........
