Are you familiar with each candidates tax plan? Sure, Sanders has been demonized because he's a dreaded socialist but have you actually looked at his plan? How about Hillary's, or Ted's, or Trump's? Well, come watch these two short videos that will sum up each of their tax plans. Sorry, Kaicsh didn't make this list because he should have dropped out a long time ago.

Guess whose tax plans benefit the wealthy?

I highly recommed exploring their YouTube channels because they are all educational and fun to watch. See their other channel here, Crash Course.

I could care less about the wealthy. I care about my own pockets. Somehow, taxing the rich ALWAYS trickles down into taxing me more too. I don't have much more room in the budget for Uncle Sam. That mooch takes enough as it is.

If it means the rich keep more their money in order for me to keep more of mine, sobeit! I'm taxed enough already!

"Guess whose tax plans benefit the wealthy?"

Whoever has the tax plan that allows our corrupt Congress to spend/steal/misappropriate the most money, is the candidate with the tax plan that benefits the wealthy most.

I don't care about each candidates' tax plan.

Republicans will cut taxes but not spending.

Democrats will increase spending and taxes.

Bernie will do what the dems do except on steroids.

Trump will do all the blow in America.

The Repub's tax plans may seem good for your own pockets but they both are disastrous for the US economy. So in the long run, your pockets won't be as fat as you think they will be.

Did you watch both videos? If so, thanks for watching and be sure to check out another FUN video about TAXES! YES!!!1

These videos don't address gov't corruption, just taxes and the candidates tax plans. No matter who is in office the corruption will be waiting for them. Now, out of all the candidates, who are against the establishment? You have Sanders and Trump. Sanders, one of the poorest members of Senate and Trump and so called Billionaire. I wonder who of the two is more corruptable?

My wife is an inner city MD and we are both considered independent contractors...
Which means both of us have to use the Affordable Care Act Exchanges.
Our current Aetna packages are about $1300/month and have a $14,000 max out of pocket...doing the math we would have to shell out about $30k before our insurance would even begin to cover expenses..

A physician, especially a fellow in the American college of physicians(FACEP), pays annual fees...there are also 10s of thousands of dollars spent on continuing education to remain boarded...especially if you are one of the few like my better half who is credentialled at level I trauma adult and pediatric EMs....a very rare feat as most we are one or the other...

Each year as a family we pay well into 6 figures in taxes despite making in the six figures...emergency dr salaries have remained largely stagnant since the early 80s...I'm not complaining as the money is great but so is the service offered...while y'all are sleeping or celebrating holidays people are still dying and physicians are needed to care for them..

Anyhow, being part of the vilified demographic is very frustrating especially considering we live a very conservative life in a the suburbs...our kids don't go to private school, we drive normal cars and don't own vacation homes...why? Because we are taxed to oblivion and dont hide our money in s-corps or llcs because we are not willing because it seems wrong(just our opinion)...

So,while this site consistently vilifies those evil people making more than $250k please remember there are many who work EXTREMELY hard and long hours to get it...notwithstanding the ridiculous school/residency expenses incurred over an 11 year period...

Please forgive any misspellings or grammatical mistakes because the iPad please forgive any misspellings or grammatical mistakes because the iPad understand can't understand my Texan accent ha

Sounds like you pretty much got it. I would say you don't need to watch the videos but because I enjoy the makers of the videos I would recommend them anyway, and please explore their channel because they talk about everything.

They don't care. They just assume you're lying and are actually driving a Porsche to work everyday and you should be fleeced for everything you have because you're the evil 1%.

You cannot have an honest conversation about tax plans that benefit the wealthy by just looking at tax brackets and demographics. Corruption has to be a part of the equation. All that tax money gets spent, wasted, stolen, misappropriated, and not-bid-out in government contracts to cronies. The wealthiest -- big business, corporations, insurance companies, pharma -- are the ones who benefit from big tax-spending plans.

Corruption has to be addressed first, then let's talk taxes. Until that happens, I would almost swear that Bernie's image as anti-Establishment is nothing more than campaign and media advertising. Smoke & mirrors to hide the fact that the Establishment secretly loves Bernie because of his spending plan.

Also, I think everyone is capable of being corrupt once. And once you have participated in corruption -- 'they' have the dirt to keep you trapped in a corrupt system.

I believe every candidate running as a democrat or republican is trapped in a system of corruption -- Bernie and Trump included.

I have no reason to trust otherwise.

Oh I agree corruption and irresponsible spending is a MAJOR issue and needs to be tackled immediately. So far the only 2 candidates who will tackle that is Sanders or Trump.

But again, this just about the candidates tax plans, not corruption. But a thread on how each of the four of them plan on tackling corruption would be a good idea!

So taxes "would necessarily skyrocket" just so the wealthy wouldn't benefit.

I find it odd that the U.S. has a higher Capitol Gains Tax already, than many of the utopias that Bernie wants us to be like..

to you and your wife! There are a few inner city physicians in my family and I'm well aware of the hard work you put in.

Just remember that honest doctors are the most underpaid folks that make 6 figures, considering that in the U. S. we have people making 7 figures for catching a football or conjuring ways to screw the poor.

Okay...

Anyone notice a trend in these Youtube videos where they cut and chop the video up to give just a sentence or two before cutting again? Usually the person has moved position or is closer/farther away from the camera.

It's an almost anxiety-producing, frenzied and hectic editing style. I feel like I'm going to develop ADHD or something watching these kinds of videos. I feel like I've drank 5 redbulls even if I haven't.

EDIT: TIL (today I learned) it's called a "jump cut". Example:

Trumps plan is higher tax than Clintons. Trumps plan would significantly increase taxes actually, of course it has to because there are a lot of things he plans to spend money on. Cruz's would cut taxes. Sanders would increase taxes and spending, but only on "the people who can afford it" (more taxes but less spending than Trump, so lower deficit). Clinton is pretty much business as usual.
