Gave up ATS for Lent

It was rough. I only digressed once, some time in the middle of Lent when I got on to ATS to write some stuff about the Republican primaries. Just couldn't help myself. Other than that I was off of ATS the entire time. It is soooooooooo nice to be back!

My ex was pissed when she found out I was doing stuff I liked.

I should've added that to my lent list.

I had a girlfriend all through high school that used to give up sex every year for Lent.

I'd say "But you don't have sex ?!"

She'd say "Exactly !"


I guess her point was that she'll be damned if she's going to give up anything she's currently enjoying just for the sake of her parents' religious traditions.

Good on you!,! I'm not religious and don't understand the whole lent thing. It's where you give up something you love for a set time, right? I do think it's a great thing to do tho, and you can do it anytime, I might try it next lent which guess is next Easter?. I will do it with you true lent followers so I have some can spell sorry.
