Just surfing the web and came across this story how a supect in the attempt assianation of the afghan pm has escape and that a nationwide man hunt is underway
An Islamic militant allegedly involved in an assassination attempt on Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf a year ago has escaped from custody.

Information Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed confirmed the escape of Mushtaq Ahmed and said a nationwide hunt was under way for him.

Last month, a military court convicted two low-ranking army officers on charges of involvement in the December 14, 2003, assassination attempt.

Nice to see that afghanistan is well on it way to being a safe country, that a convitced assainan is allowed to escape and do a runner.
