Here is a list I recieved via e-mail from an associate, it's a long list but interesting none the less. It will keep me for a little while at least.

A number of people like to mention U.S. military code-names such as "Aurora"

to their friends. In order to give people snappy code-names to mention at

cocktail parties and Groom Lake camp-outs, I will provide the following

list of recent classified U.S. military programs, along with their Program

Element identification numbers, and a description, if I know what the program

is: (there are numerous other classified programs hidden behind phrases such as

"Special Evaluation Program", but they just don't have the same appeal to the

ears as a snappy code-name... Following military custom, I will use all

uppercase letters for the code-names)

U.S. Air Force

The links with it, came up NOT AUTHORIZED. They probably don't exist or I need a different computer to acces them. I will report later on this.

seems interesting, but this 'associate' of yours, do you really trust he's telling you the truth? From where I stand, that is a nice made up list of code-names, based on rumors and half facts...

HERE is also a list of current secret programs...

I guess we can never be sure if that is all true or not.

As I said the person in question is only an associate, I don't know them very well hence my not refuring to them as "friend". Sources are to be found reliable only after confirmation. So your guess is as good as mine. Nonetheless I find the list to be of some interest.

You're way too paranoid if you....

Can name 20+ government codenames

I can name more than 20 government codewords and nicknames, and I am not paranoid....just cleared in

If you were you wouldn't say you were; unless you're an 18 year old radio repair tech whose been looking at documents when he wasn't supposed to.

So, have you? Tsk, Tsk.

Well, being you've already read them, you might as well spill the beans!

Use small words and don't use acronyms or else some won't follow you.

Sorry, but I promised the government that I wouldn't "spill the beans". Besides, spilling the beans would be a very un-patriotic (and stupid) thing to do, wouldn't it?

I have been working with this kind of information for more than a decade, it's really not as facinating as you might think. No doubt, its really cool stuff if you happen to be a Phd. or some kinda physics whiz, but to the average job most of it is just techo-babble.

No death rays, no aliens, no revocered discs, just alot of hard-working American citizens trying to give our boys the best gadgets and gizmos on the battlefield so they can come home in one piece.

BTW, I have seen this list of project out on the net somewhere, maybe on the FAS website, can't remember. It's old news and not up to date. Some of the projects listed are acknowledged DoD SAP's...no biggie.

I have a friend who used to be in the Air Force with me. We are both computer programmers. He recently got out and took a job with a gov't contractor at Wright-Patterson AFB. The job is actually in the Air Force Research Lab. I kept trying to get him to tell me what he was working on, and he never could probably because most of our coorespondence is thru government email. Well I was talking to him on the phone the other day and he told me that hes working on a teleportation device....like beam me up Scotty. Thats all he would tell me though...i have no reason not to believe him. Pretty cool though...

So he felt more comfortable talking over an unsecure phone?

Ummmmm, yeah. Apparently. I dont think the fed's are listening into our private cell phones....government email on the other hand is fair game.

BUT, if the conspiracy theorists are correct, then the NSA with their Gigantic Supercomputer that listens and intercepts EVERYTHING comms wise in the US, may very well have been listening to your conversation..
