Putting on my big boy pants

Hello, I've spent several months enjoying the content of ATS as a lurker, and finally decided to start my journey into becoming a contributor to the content I've very much been enjoying. I must say that I am slightly intimidated, but as my intro thread title suggests, it's time to man up and jump on in.
Anyway, a little about myself. I live in Seattle, I am a semi famous B-level rapper, and I very much enjoy a good conspiracy. I used to believe that almost everything was a conspiracy, but as I've "matured" I've become more skeptical of being so skeptical. I like politics, current events, and most things super natural. I hope that I can eventually add to some of the great discussions I've read on ATS, and look forward to interacting. Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

The white fluffy dressing gown is a rare ocourance. The best bet is to imagine me in a workmans clothes and covered in either paint or sawdust with an unkempt beard and a beer/coffee depending on time of day.

I imagine you sat in a small but well organised study with wall to wall old books and curio's abound with a small sherry and a manx cat sat on your lap.

Hmm, very close. Book cases on most of three walls. Picture window bi-fold doors (four glass double-doors which open out to our view) on the other. Also, not small, about 100 square feet in this room, I think.

Not really curio's but four paintings, a telescope & a couple of of toy chests for the grand-kids.

Rather than sherry, mine would be a Dry Port, Beaujolais or even Champers if I'm in the mood. But more usually, coffee.

The cat (my daughters) is a Maine Coon breed and always gets put out at night!

On thundery nights (or when spotlighters are shooting rabbits nearby or there are fireworks) the dog comes in and sleeps on her blanket.

Welcome aboard! It is kind of daunting to start posting after being in "lurker mode" but one of the upsides is that there have been upgrades to the system!

I have been pointing people to the Freshman Forums to get some basics down. Some of the items used to be confusing (like the old method of creating an avatar) but with the updates comes ease of use!
