You must mean the Antarctic since the Arctic mostly covers the ocean. The Antarctic has ice core samples dating from 400,000 to 800,000 years old so no forests 45,000 years ago. CDIAC

So long as those you support can hold onto as much of that money as long as they can until civilization as we know it comes crashing down you’ll be happy? What is so wrong with investing in our future and anticipating coming global change with the goal of adapting to it?
