In ___ we trust / So help me God / One nation under God

God does not have the right to be there and our forefathers are the ones who stated it. Like this one quote from President Adams' " It will never be pretended that any persons employed in that service had interviews with the gods, or were in any degree under the influence of Heaven, more that those at work upon ships or housed, or laboring in marchandise or agriculture; it will forever be acknowledged that these governments were contrived merely by the use of reason and the senses." (1788 J. Adams 'A defence of the constitutions of Government of the United States of America").

So why do people this day say that god belong there because of our forefathers? Do the research they they were the ones that said no to god....
Oh and money..well In god we trust didnt appear on a rare amount of coins till 1864 and the first paper currency to say this was in 1955 by order of congress.
None of this was by our founding fathers, this is years, decades, centuries later when god started appearing on these things especcially in the fifties because of the goddless communism as Eisenhower stated once.

So people think before you say because Washington, Jefferson, Adams,etc. beleived god needed to stay out of our government.

Imo this implies not that god is absent, rather that those in government service have nospecial relationship (more than those at work on ships etc).

In God is our trust was used in the poem Defense of Fort McHenry around 20th September 1814, later set to music it was seen as a rousing song and was accepted by the people as the National anthem of the United states of America,

It was accepted as such by public demand for the next century or so, but became even more accepted as the national anthem during the World Series of Baseball in 1917 when it was sung in honor of the brave armed forces fighting in the Great War. The World Series performance moved everyone in attendance, and after that it was repeated for every game. Imo forefathers does not relate just to the good and the great, but to all those who went before and made America the great country it is today,

The forefathers are those who created this country not those who made it great.

And the term god was not ratified for use on our currency nor our plaedge till the 1950s, you tell me forefathers?
