US Reserves depleted and "broken"!

What are we doing to our reserves? The US has always depended on the reserves in times of war and crisis, but they are overusing and overextending the reserves.

WASHINGTON - The U.S. Army Reserve, tapped heavily to provide soldiers for wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, is �degenerating into a �broken� force� due to dysfunctional military policies, the Army Reserve�s chief said in a memo made public Wednesday.

We are turning our once proud reserves into a bunch of overworked overwrought soldiers, their stay of duties have been extended time and time again and the conditions are horrible, the word is getting out ,and the military will have a very hard time refilling these positions. What will they do when there are no more reserves? The draft would have to be re-enacted!
