I live in Scotland, quite a rural area so there are a lot of guns around (farmers, lairds, groundskeepers, gamekeepers etc) and I haven't heard of a single person being shot and killed in a long time but that's nothing to do with our strict firearms laws because as we all know Guns don't kill people, people do and Monkeys, if they have guns...

1 in my home town, 7 where I live now.

So far it seems to come down to gang/criminal behaviour the odd nutter and irresponsibility when it comes to shootings.

Hardly any great epiphany there.

The take away would be that rural communities are the safest regardless of what country you live in.

Interesting thread and I'm interested to see how/if it develops in regards to outliers.
