There exists a carol which can be sung to the tune of Greensleeves.

First verse;

What child is this, who, laid to rest,
On Mary's lap is sleeping?
Whom angels greet with anthems sweet,
While shepherds watch are keeping?
This, this is Christ the King,
Whom shepherds guard and angels sing:
Haste, haste to bring Him laud,
The babe, the son of Mary.

Yup, I like that one too.

It's called "What Child Is This".

I love any version of the greensleeves melody, there's just something about it that I find hauntingly beautiful.

Where ya'll at? Where's the cheer!?

Anyways, here's a pic of some of a part of our festive DIY nightmare before Christmas. A Christmas card holder made of wood and chicken wire that my hubby made. We use clothes pins to keep the cards on and decorated it with battery operated blinky lights and ornaments.

You make your kid wear that sweater? I guess that's a good punishment for misbehaving lol. Really, though. I like it. It's original and makes me laugh.

Wah!? No, it was his idea. I'm mortified. He actually wanted a reindeer pooping but I had to call the NAY-NO on that.

Geez, I had to change to three different reading glasses before I finally spotted that dang-blasted panda !

Grrrr, woof.

Here's been my Xmas cheer this week:

It's been snowing here non-stop for 4 days.

4 FRICKEN DAYS !

Okay... I feel better now that I got that off my chest.

But if I hear one more person singing "Let It Snow"....

To the moon, Alice.
To the moon !
