No I meant in a seperate "drone command" aircraft similar to AWAC but it's role is just drone control

If what Dupont says is true though then there's little point though if the latency cannot be reduced and I'd imagine it's something they've probably already thought about and found it wasn't viable

Maybe with discoveries in Quantum communication and Superluminal data transfer they'll finally reduce the latency but I guess that's a long way off, if ever

Imho it would be more effective to let the missiles do the dogfighting, 360 degree off-bore capability, air-breathing engines and stuff.
