Ok, I swear it was called the Heldron Collider. Or was it Helidron?

I'm sure there was an "L" in the spelling and pronunciation.

I'm sure.

Perhaps you're slightly confused: it was called the "large" hedron collider, so perhaps that's where the "L" came into it.
And it's not a Mandela effect: that's the African heroes name. It is the mandala: a symbol of a snake eating its tail, and describing a circle, in doing so.

Don't get me wrong: I believe in time warps like this and have experienced them myself.

Always been Hadron.

Our minds play tricks on us. It's not a time warp.

It's the Mandela effect. People claim he died in prison, so him surviving to them was proof of a time warp.

I seem to think it was Hedin because of the joke I made when I first heard of it...

A friend was telling me about it and he said Large Hedrin... but before he could say collider I popped off " Apply directly to Forehead."

That is how I remember it.

oh and reference for those that do not get the joke.

I remember that Nelson Mandrella designed the Largish Headon Collider before he croaked in the pokey.

Interesting, for true. Do your mispellings of the issues we are discussing, and people's names, reflect your attitude towards the whole situation being discussed, here?

If so, interesting way of speaking your mind…..obfuscate much?

My first reaction to the OP was the same as yours..."Hadron" collider is the only name I've ever known it to be called.

I vaguely seem to remember it was also called by another moniker or nickname early on. Wasn't it also called the 'Euro-Super Collider,' or something like that? I seem to recall a different name when it was still under construction.
