Not sure where to post this but in posts I have seen the reference to Big Brother. Just what did this survallience project do exactlly? Who was in charge of this project? And is it still in use?

Was there really a surveillance system that plagiarised the fictional name? Not good form in my opinion.

is the government, it watches, records and listens. They are watching is a refurence to the Government or i.e big brother. And he grows into larger more specific groups every passing day. Soon, hopefull big brother will be set into his place.
