Naturalized citizen charged with conspiring to send Reaper/Jet Engines to China

A naturalized US citizen has been charged with attempting to send a General Atomics MQ-9 Reaper, F135, and F119 engines to China. The F135 is used in the F-35, and the F119 in the F-22. Wenxia Man from San Diego is accused of working with Xinsheng Zhang to acquire the equipment and send back to China. Zhang has been charged but is reportedly back in China and hasn't been arrested.

Man contacted people in Broward County to enlist their aid in getting the equipment, but they were working with Homeland Security. She and her husband run a small factory in California that produces capacitors. She spoke in emails about exporting the equipment through Korea, Israel, or Hong Kong. She faces 25 years, and a $1.25M fine if convicted.

Prosecutors say Wenxia Man, aka Wency, 44, was working with a man she called a "technology spy" who procures information from Russia and other nations "so that China can obtain sophisticated technology without having to conduct its own research."

The so-called "technology spy," Xinsheng Zhang, was indicted on related charges in South Florida but authorities said he is in China and has not yet been arrested.

Investigators said Zhang discussed paying $50 million to an undercover operative in Broward to illegally ship an MG-9 Reaper, an unmanned drone that is "capable of firing Hellfire missiles and is classified as a defense article," on the U.S. defense munitions list.

We used to hang spies.

Now we import them, give them an H1B visa, educate them at our universities, employ them in our defense sector and feign surprise when this happens.

They tend to do a terrible job of screening people don't they?

It's always Chinese or people connected to Chinese business interests.

You forgot that we are also accused of racism when these facts are called out. BUt, heaven forbid we fly the American flag in those schools or in our own yards.

So much for the Chinese President promising to end technology theft / cyber theft. They just made the same agreement with the UK this last week during his visit there. Technology theft and them trying to get a security agent / spy in the same carriage as the President and the Queen.

Why do I get the idea Chain is not going to change.
