I Need my ZZZs!!

It's a conspiracy, that's for sure.
One that's directed solely at me.
Dunno what they've targeted me for,
But nor do I think, it's very funny.

It started just a few weeks ago,
While I was laying sound asleep.
I awoke about 3 a.m. or so,
To the sound, of an annoying beep.

I hit the snooze, on my alarm,
Certain that was the cause of it.
Flailing around blindly, with my arm,
I know a few times, I got direct hits.

But the noise, it never went away,
And because I am the curious type.
I looked around, and to my dismay ,
I realized that it was just my Skype.

Ahhhh! Cut it out! I need my ZZZs!
I can't function, without a full eight.
I'm beggin you, I'm on my knees,
Quit Skyping me when it's so late.

I jump up and proceed to shut down,
My lap top and all my other things,
That could possibly, transmit the sound,
That typing into Skype does bring.

A short time later, I lay back down,
A smile of content upon my face.
Five minutes pass, and I hear that sound,
It's coming from, my cell phone case.

It's a conspiracy, that's for sure,
One that's directed solely at me.
I think Skype, is now fully aware,
And developed a stalker personality.


Or...I could be sleep deprived...both are feasible options...

Yeah..I thought so...there is no way a person named Peter Pumpernickel decided that it was imperative to add me to his Skype contact list at 3 a.m....no way...
