apparently this is mine and my opening post is way too short. really like the way this dude plays guitar and the bass guy looks way cool in his hat. I really like this jam. its way cool.

But Bing? does that mean they are sell outs?

LOVE Moe!

I've seen them many times live.

I actually have a pretty cool story.

At an All Good festival years ago, a big thunderstorm knocked the stage down and messed up the electrical circuits so, the bands couldn't play.

Moe played acoustic and it was amazing!

Sadly, a lot of people didn't know about it but, I was one of the lucky ones that got to hear them.

One of my favorite shows despite the crappy weather.

This is one that always comes up when the friends and I are drinking excessively.

I have a friend who is really into moe. This was about 10 years ago maybe 14...I used to burn CDs of live shows for him. I never really listened to them but he played me something one night that I thought was fantastic but I can't remember what song it was. Anyway, I was thinking about them recently and just really liked this song. They will be in my neck of the woods in a few week so might check them out.

If I dink too much, I'm sleeping. Despite the plagiarism of one of my favorite musicals and some rock in general, and despite Brian's recent sellout, here's some drinking music I dig.

Here's the Silver Sun I know and love.

Yes, I've been drinking. I'd rather be smoking, but I'm trying to change jobs.

HA Ha! yes, there was some guy dressed up like the Hunter S Thompson...

So I went on Friday night all by my lonesome...which is how I prefer it sometimes because I like getting up close and personal when I want to check out a band. Being with other people just slows me down. So for Friday, I was dead center all the way up front. This was a GA show which is also my preference and a brand new venue. The Fillmore in Philly is awesome! Its also right across the street from the Sugarhouse casino and probably a mile from Delilah's....but anyway.

Im not that familiar with their songs but it really didn't matter because they are really good and they kept my interest the whole show. There wasn't any point where I was bored or anything no long drawn out space drums or something. The sound was really good. Not too loud but loud enough and clean. A really good mix. Al Schnier is an intense, funky guitarist. I have nothing bad to say about these guys other than I have no idea what their songs are about mostly. Definitely on my list to see a few more times.

Halloween was Star Wars night. So there were a lot of Star Wars costumes among other things....Giant X-wing and Tie fighters hanging from the ceiling. The band was dressed as star wars characters, they changed their song lyrics around ...Saint Augustine became Senator Palpatine....lots of covers. here:

Set 1:
1.Star Wars Overture
2.St. Augustine (done as Senator Palpatine)
3.Mr. Spaceman (The Byrds cover)
4. Cantina Band
5.Cosmik Debris (Frank Zappa cover)
6. Shoot First (done as Han Shot First)
7.Interstellar Overdrive (Pink Floyd cover)
8. Moth (done as Hoth)

Set 2:
9.The Imperial March
10. Ziggy Stardust (David Bowie cover)
11. Silver Sun
12. Jazz Wank
13. Buster
14. Yodelittle (done as Yoda-Little)
Encore:
15. Plane Crash
16. Yoda
17. Disco Wars (with Cantina Band snippet)
