Lol, this is so stupid. Socialism doesn't cause racism anymore than Democracy does. Every country has its racists regardless of what type of government is in place. People are the cause of racism, not any particular type of government.

This just sounds like another reason to hate on Bernie, nothing more nothing less.

In a society founded on a collective, there needs to be some kind of motivating factor to keep the populace in line and working. Capitalism has the profit and advancement motive. When you can increase your own well-being and achieve for yourself, moving your place up the ladder, you are motivated to produce. In a socialist collective, that motivation does not exist. No one can achieve more than anyone else.

So, such societies often use either strong senses of nationalism or a scapegoat other (or both) in order to motivate their populaces to produce.

The Nazis used both. The USSR used the Mother Land, Mother Russia. China has a racial element - many Asian societies do. Theocratic Islamic nations often point to the Little and Great Satans.
