I gotta say I really like Patrick Stewart as an actor and as a dude.
He started off in the UK's longest running soap Coronation street and perhaps best known as Piccard in Star Trek or Professor X in X-Men.

Anyhow here is his new show Blunt talk.

He plays a disgraced British news talk show host Walter Blunt and I must say it is very funny.
He has a man!.
lol.

Anyhow find it and watch it.
Here is Patrick giving his wife an acting lesson.

Yeah one dude I would have a pint with.

I think the show looks like a lot of fun and I'm excited to give it a watch once the whole first season is out.

That said I wonder how much "Look how wacky and brash Sir Patrick Stewart is being!!XDXDXD" can hold up in a series.

I've heard that it has an intelligent undertone comparable to Network or HBO's The Newsroom which gives me hope.

Either way, love the actor.

It takes the Mickey of both the British and the US cultures in a funny way.

It looks like a funny show. It's so weird seeing him acting so undignified.

The latest episode I'll admit flew right over my head. I grasped the point of showing his assistants are all quirky deviants like he is, but the shoes! WHAT WAS THE DEAL WITH THE GUY AND THE SHOES!?!?!?

No idea I hope as the series goes on we get to know about his team.
The fella and wife with the open marriage but he is getting alzheimer's its sad but heart warming in a way.
I really felt something in that scene.

"Does it bother you that I have a nine inch penis?"Blunt "Of course not, I'm English."

I wanna see this!
Good to see him explore his comic side. His cameo is probably one of my favorite scenes on Extras:
"But I've seen everything.."

He also played a relatively small but impressive role in Excalibur. Great actor and a great human being.

I'm genuinely delighted by everything that man does. He brings an instant smile every time I see him. A true merrymaker in my estimate.

Patrick Steward and Ian McKellen have to do a movie together...

And hopefully a few more X-Men movies as well

Watched and up to date, though only 3 episodes in I thought it's gradually getting better.
It reminds me a little bit of Californication, with all the dysfunctional deviants type characters, but I hope it won't be as repetitive.
I like "my Man " Harry

the UK's longest running soap Coronation street

No it's not. " The Archers " is the U.K. longest running soap.
