Yes, that was it. Not how I remembered, but the IRC reference rings a few bells. This kid received ten million for his cherry, and yet all I ever got was a burning sensation whenever I took a piss.

Some people reckon this is a real bad thing, karma or whatever, I don't know. But even if that were true and people had souls, it's not like a piece of paper would make a difference. "Selling" your soul would have to involve doing some terrible thing for a cause like money, surely.
